This position will serve as an Association Finance Assistant for Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Tompkins County. The position will carry out administrative and financial tasks including, but not limited to administering budgetary information; processing accounts payable; cash sales deposits; processing checks; preparing payroll reports; managing petty cash; and other finance and administrative duties as assigned. This position will work with the Finance Manager to implement established best practices and procedures in Finance and will communicate with the Finance Manager regarding questions, issues and/or troubleshooting as appropriate.
