S&P Global Sustainable1 The Role: Senior Manager / Associate Director, Sustainable1 Finance

The Team: Sustainable1 is the recently created ESG & Climate organization supporting divisional growth across S&P Global. You will report to the Head of Finance for Sustainable1 and have exposure to the Sustainable1 leadership team. Additionally, you will work with finance partners and other stakeholders across all the divisions and at Corporate.
The Impact: ESG & Climate is one of the five key priorities set forth by S&P Global's CEO. It is an area of tremendous opportunity with annual revenue growth exceeding 50% across S&P Global and a strategic priority for all divisions. You will help to foster this newly formed group's objective to cement its position as a top 2 player in the ESG & Climate data / analytics space and help the management team make critical decisions.

Responsibilities: This role will require a dynamic finance leader, who can manage a wide array of tasks and responsibilities:
- Contribute to the financial planning and evaluation, financial reporting, and interpretation/analysis of the results for Sustainable1 and the enterprise wide ESG & Climate suite of products.
- Act as a business partner to Sustainable1 leadership and their direct reports to effectively manage their respective P&L areas, including mitigating risks and identifying productivity opportunities.
- Work with divisional finance teams to provide analysis of financial results and forecasts across the enterprise for the ESG & Climate suite of products.
- Perform financial analysis (including financial modelling) and due diligence for Sustainable1-led ESG & Climate acquisitions, partnerships, and investments.
- Develop business cases to assist in the evaluation of potential investment opportunities.
- Track progress against key investments and acquisitions, including integration and synergy realization.
- Assist in the roll out of a new commercial incentive program driving enterprise wide ESG & Climate revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the team to develop presentations for S&P Global Senior Management and the Board, as necessary.
Basic Qualifications: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced communication skills. This includes the ability to simplify complex concepts and messages to the essential components and deliver these effectively to a wide range of audiences.
- Highly developed skills in navigating a complex, heavily matrixed, global organization.
- Strong organizational skills including ability to manage multiple projects / activities at a given time.
- Operates with a sense of urgency, ability to work under tight and sometimes competing priorities.
- Ability to quickly build credibility and relationships.
- Strong skills in MS Excel (Pivot tables, V-Lookups, Modeling) and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- 6-10 years of experience in a finance role (FP&A, investment banking, equity research).
Preferred Qualifications: - CPA, MBA, CFA and/or other relevant professional qualifications.
- Experience with ERP (Oracle Financials), Cognos TM1, Anaplan preferred.
- M&A deal experience.
- Understanding of ESG & Sustainability concepts.
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,800 to $230,200. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
