The Finance Manager position is to be one of multiple supervisor positions within Lineberger's Business Office that will oversee up to three employees while providing financial management of their own clinical trial portfolio. The competency level of this position is due to the complexity of the Cancer Center as it compares to other units in the school and across campus. This position provides financial services for clinical trials which is highly complex. The position will have responsibility for the activity of up to three accounting technicians. The position will have the authority to oversee day-to-day activity of the assigned accounting staff independently with consultation of the Associate Director, Finance Administration and Senior Financial Manager as necessary.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with 12 credit hours of accounting coursework; or Associate's degree in accounting; or Associate's degree in business or related discipline with 12 credit hours of accounting coursework; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
