A pivotal member of the Questrom Senior Leadership Team, the Associate Dean of Finance & Administration drives planning, analysis, reporting, policy development, and continuous improvement for finance, budgets and accounting, human resources, facilities and operations, and information technology. Leads and informs resource allocation decisions and the identification, analysis, and prioritization of initiatives. Engages contingency planning to understand effects on the Questrom budget, resources, structures, and facilities. Develops dashboards and reports to support informed decision-making. Assures alignment of financial, human, technological, and physical resources with Questrom's strategy, goals, and objectives. Leads continuous improvement efforts to assure the effective and efficient deployment of resources, optimal processes and structures, and to instill a culture of operational excellence. Acts in a management capacity to directly supervise Directors of Budgets, Facilities & Operations, IS&T, and Human Resources including performance feedback and evaluation, task assignment and prioritization, professional development, and various staff oversight duties. Serves as the schools liaison to and maintains strong and productive relationships with central administrative departments including the Provost, Budgets, General Accounting, HR, and IS&T areas.

Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or another quantitative field required.
CPA designation strongly preferred and/or experience working in financial consultancy roles.
10+ years of experience, ideally in strategic finance and budgeting. Experience in Human Resources, facilities management, information systems a plus.
Big 4 senior managers (EY, Deloitte, KPMG, and PWC) with higher education and/or non-profit experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated experience in short- and long-term planning, rolling forecasts, financial analysis.
Advanced data skills, including comfort in querying data, leveraging data for use in analysis, and understanding how data interfaces between systems.
Strong project management skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, with demonstrated advanced financial data skills.
Superlative oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and work with multiple constituencies.
Strong customer-focused service mindset.
Demonstrated decision-making and leadership experience.
