Accountable of the building of Accounting, Credit and collections and AP functions within a shared environment
Must be adaptable to listen to, understand and deliver the key requirements of stakeholders and build an effective structure to deliver this. This will include detail review of key balance sheet accounts and variance review of P&L.
Performance must be metrics driven and person will be responsible to work with financial management team at other sites to establish, deliver and consistently review a suite of value-add metrics that demonstrate commitment to excellence and a winning mentality.

Build a team to ensure that there is cover for Team when members are absent when critical deadlines need to be met.
Ensure the preparation of monthly financial reports for de fined entity/ region, ensuring they are completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
Establish relevant controls and review cadence to ensure accounts are accurate, complaint and delivered in line with close timetables including balance sheet reviews and consolidated report out on key accounts and variance and establishing a P&L variance review
Ensure compliance with US GAAP revenue recognition criteria.
Establish review of significant revenue contracts for in scope entities to ensure compliance with corporate revenue recognition guidelines.
Member of global shared service management team that can influence changes which positively impact the
Delivery of all ad hoc reporting requirements as they arise and manage and review reports for accuracy prior to publication.
Interface with corporate tax and treasury on all matters that impact the business unit including tax strategies.
Collaboration with external audit staff for periodic year-end review procedures and local statutory audits as required.
Key stakeholder in ongoing policy and control environment development to ensure compliance with applicable internal control regulations.
Enhancement of existing processes and development of new ones to ensure the most efficient completion of duties.
Provision of technical expertise, support and guidance to the accounting group.
Develop relationships with both internal and external customers.
Liaise efficiently with corporate and with the other IT business subsidiaries throughout the world.
Other duties & projects as assigned by the Senior Finance Director.
Accounting Qualification - CPA or equivalent.
Third Level Degree or equivalent
5+ year's relevant experience - preferably Big 4 with Shared Service Centre and multinational corporation background.
SAP/Oracle or other major ERP Systems experience is desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Must be able to articulate well to all levels in the organisation
High capacity to understand and summarise financial data into high quality, accurate and usable summaries.
Strong computer skills especially MS Office.
Travel will be required particularly in early stages of development. Normal case travel would be occasional.
