Fantastic opportunity for a qualified ACA/ACCA with audit experience to move from practice and gain broad experience in a well-known and respected company. Known as a great place to work, you'll be part of a Regional team which comprises several operating business units and Groups.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, examples of key responsibilities include:
Review and analysis of monthly actuals, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and year-end results for selected companies;
Preparing quarterly Actuals/Forecast power point presentations for management review meetings;
Assisting in preparing commentary for presentations with senior management;
Ensuring accurate and consistent reporting of intercompany balances providing explanations for any significant out of balances;
Acting as internal reporting pack champion;
Assisting with integration of acquisitions;
Ad hoc reporting, analysis, and collation of various projects and/or request for information.
Skills and personal qualities:
Fully qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA, ideally with 2-3 years PQE
Exposure to compliance/auditing
Previous experience in reviewing regional / consolidated accounts an advantage but not essential
Strong Excel skills.
A team player who is proactive, works well under pressure and is able to manage time efficiently to ensure deadlines are met effectively
