This position will reside in the Global Technology & Operations Finance's (GTOF) FP&A team. The primary focus of the team is to drive efforts supporting forecasting, budgeting, month end close and analysis activities. The GTO Central FP&A team is responsible for the development of executive reporting for Global Technology & Operations (GT&O), a $14B organization with 90K+ resources, including the Technology Initiatives portfolio, Tech Applications and Infrastructure, Operational departments, and Global Business Services, in support of the revenue-generating lines of business. Specific team responsibilities include the management of month-end close reporting, story-telling of forecast changes, production of executive business reviews and CFO SLT allocations reporting, and the opportunity to drive Operational Excellence across the broader GT&O Finance team. High exposure and ability to refine executive presentation skills.
Key responsibilities and competencies:
GTO Administration: End-to-end ownership of month-end close, allocations, and forecasting, including centrally held items, GTO-wide software capitalization/amortization, and other strategic investments
Weekly Estimate ownership: End-to-end ownership including management of GTO-wide submissions, partnership with Corporate Planning, and presentation development for key executives
Severance analytics: End-to-end ownership including actuals analytics, forecast development, and accrual determination, in conjunction with key HR and Finance partners
Executive reporting adhoc requests / one-off project work (i.e. COVID Ops losses, management of recent reorganizations)
Bachelor's Degree (preferred Business, Accounting, or Finance)
Understanding of key concepts in accounting and finance such as understanding of financial statements, generally accepted accounting principles, and an understanding of a corporate control environment.
Minimum of 3-5+ years' experience of accounting/finance, data analytics, or audit experience in large public company.
Strong MS Office Proficiency (Excel and PowerPoint), SAP EPM Module, SAP BEX
Experience with SharePoint and other productivity tools experience such as Tableau, Alteryx, Workiva a plus
Strong Business & Communication Skills
Strong ability to establish relationships with peers across teams in order to achieve optimal results
Organizational skills such as managing multiple deadlines, multiple priorities, coordinating with cross-LOB partners
Communicate with management regarding work status and outstanding issues
