Our location in Lake Forest, IL currently has an opportunity for a Finance Supervisor - US Commercial Operations. The US Commercial Operations Supervisor supports the US Distribution channel, Hematology Business Unit, and Area Serology sales by meeting all financial reporting and analysis needs. Primary responsibilities include financial planning and analysis, analysis of monthly financial results, quarterly LBEs, weekly/monthly sales forecasts, margin improvement initiatives, and sales and service team expenses. The Supervisor works directly with Distribution channel, Hematology BU, and Commercial Excellence management on monthly responsibilities and ad hoc requests.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support the Core Diagnostics US Commercial Distribution channel, Hematology BU, and Serology sales through detailed financial analysis, business support, and ad hoc reporting. Some activities may include:
Monthly review and analysis of actual results compared to benchmarks and metrics
Work with Core Diagnostics Center of Excellence team on Distributor chargebacks
Prepare IBP and other monthly reports for senior management.
Assist in identification and implementation of process improvements.
Preparation of LBE (latest best estimate) forecasts.
Interaction with different levels of management, both finance and commercial.
Financial modeling with extensive use of Excel.
Special Ad Hoc projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
4 years of finance experience (FP&A, Cost/General Accounting or Financial Reporting).
Ability to plan, implement, and administer financial information and control systems.
Knowledge of the principles, processes and standards for integrated financial analysis and reporting.
MBA and/or CPA/CMA is a plus
High proficiency in Microsoft office suite, primarily Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in TM1, and SAP is a plus.
Ability to work independently and with senior management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
