The faculty member will be evaluated on the following general criteria based upon the IFO contract:
Demonstrated ability to teach effectively and/or perform effectively in the other current assignments.
Scholarly or creative achievement or research.
Evidence of continuing preparation and study.
Contribution to student growth and development.
Service to the university and community.
Specifically, the faculty member will be asked to teach courses such as but not limited to:
Principles of Investment
Futures and Options
Additionally, the faculty member would be asked to assist with advising students, serve on departmental committees, and support our departmental co-curricular activities within the Paseka School of Business.
Masters degree in Finance
Demonstrated ability to teach courses in finance and particularly in the investment field of study
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work successfully with students of diverse backgrounds, including sensitivity to their needs and concerns
Ph.D. in Finance
Certifications in finance such as CFA or CFP.
Demonstrated knowledge in new areas such as FINTECH or cryptocurrencies.
Academically qualified by meeting any of the categories according to the School of Business Scholarly Achievement Plan.
Two years college/university level teaching experience
