We currently have an opportunity for a Manager of Finance Systems to join our team at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.
As a Manager of Finance Systems you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the Hyperion Planning and Customer Product Profitability applications and ensuring the integrity of the applications. The individual will act as a liaison between the business unit accounting, corporate and information technology teams. You will have the opportunity to:
Support and maintain the Hyperion Planning and Customer Product Profitability applications and the associated integration with other corporate and business financial systems.
Support the upload and processing of forecast and plan data to Hyperion Planning. Develops and maintains financial reports using Hyperion reports, Smart View Excel grids and other reporting tools.
Maintain user security and manage change processes for user security in accordance with established protocols.
Maintain and execute business rules, calculations, data copies and moves.
Proactively review and monitor the application and make recommendations for design enhancements relative to ongoing best practices.
Manage the overall performance of the financial systems.
Train and support users in both business unit and corporate accounting.
Prepare and maintain user documentation and training materials.
Assists with the enhancement of business processes.
Act as liaison among information technology, corporate accounting, and business unit teams for business application projects and change management controls.
Provide assistance and backup throughout the forecast and plan cycles to ensure system responsiveness and data integrity to meet user needs.
Participate in projects to improve consolidation and reporting processes.
Review documentation supporting new or significantly changed system controls.
Evaluate and identify potential business and financial-reporting risks through participation in IT governance and change management.
Cross-train on HFM, metadata management and SAP.
Participate in implementation efforts as we evaluate new business tools in ERP/ Consolidations/ Financial Planning.

We need you to have:
BA/BS degree in Finance or a related field
7+ years of related professional and progressive Finance or Financial Systems experience in a Corporate environment.
2+ years' experience supporting activities with solid experience in financial planning and analysis as well as finance systems.
Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Icing on the cake:
MBA or other advanced degree
Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
