The role: The EMEA Finance business support for a range of activities and decision making primarily for the Commercial and Structured Finance businesses within the Region. Provides support in setting the revenue estimates & budgets for the EMEA region. Supports management in the EMEA Regulatory reporting, financial analysis and reporting. Provides input into area of global process/operations improvements, in addition to assisting with ad hoc requests/projects/initiatives that may arise.
The Business: S&P Global Ratings vision is to be the preferred provider of independent, rigorous and innovative credit ratings and insights, that increase transparency, and drive growth in global financial markets. The Team: EMEA Finance Team provides finance business partnering and decision support services to the Ratings business in the region and to the Global CM&R organisation. The Team is also responsible for the monthly financial planning & analysis cycle, including monthly close, budgeting and forecasting.
Key Roles & Responsibilities ??? EMEA contact for Global Segment Finance team based in New York. ??? Business partner for members of the EMEA Commercial Leadership team, including Structured Finance. ??? Submission of the monthly EMEA S&P Global Ratings revenue and pricing forecasts and providing value added commentary. ??? Submission of the monthly EMEA S&P Global Ratings revenue forecasts as well as the annual budget submissions. ??? Global finance busines partner for GAC ??? EMEA updates/maintenance of Global Revenue/Pricing models ??? Assist with the EMEA Regulatory Reporting ??? Support Commercial and business unit reporting requirements. Develop knowledge and understanding of the financial systems that are critical to the reporting process. ??? Ad-hoc projects (Global/Regional) Interactions

Minimum and Preferred Education Undergraduate/Graduate degree in accounting, finance or related discipline preferred. Qualified Accountant or related qualification (CIMA / ACCA) preferred.
