PROGRAM COORDINATOR, FINANCE AND EVENT OPERATIONS , Sloan School of Management , to play a crucial role within the operations team of the MIT Executive MBA and Sloan Fellows MBA for the on-and-off-campus delivery of these world-class, mid-career MBA programs. Will handle--under minimal supervision--financial duties, including purchasing, reconciling accounts, budget preparation, contractor payments, and vendor agreements; and operational responsibilities, including coordinating logistics for class sessions, modules, student-led programming, social and networking events, and recruiting events. Will assist with a wide range of projects and initiatives to ensure the successful planning, execution, and reconciliation of these programs; maintain working knowledge of the Executive Degree program's priorities and adjust to execute new adaptations as needed to match these priorities; and provide customer service and logistical support to students and visitors, including actin as a point of contact, on selected program delivery days/evenings (~25 evenings, ~20 Saturdays, and four Sundays/year).
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree; at least two years of administrative and/or project/program management experience and experience in business or higher education; excellent written and oral communication skills; attention to detail; proofreading skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, database programs, and SAP; ability to exercise diplomacy when handling the complex and sometimes demanding needs of faculty, staff, and students; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects and various stages; and experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Must be able to attend approximately twenty program delivery weekend days, including arriving early and staying late; and to travel occasionally for domestic and international information sessions and course modules.
