Job Description Fortune 4 CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Director to join our Caremark (Pharmacy Services Segment) Finance team. As the Finance Director Caremark Customer Verticals you will improve financial results within the Employer or Health Plan Business Divisions. You will be responsible for leading a team that support needs related to understanding client profitability at both an individual client level (by line of business, where appropriate) and aggregations of clients as necessary. Activities the role will participate in, among other things include: validating budget/forecast assumptions, understanding drivers of variances to budgets, participation in new business and renewal pricing decisions, working to improve client based financial outcomes, actual and budget reporting, sign off on cash disbursements to clients (guaranty payments, rebate payments, other client obligations).
You will use experience with employers, coalitions, government entities, plan sponsors, or health plans that are highly custom in their approach to pharmacy benefit services â“ complex pricing arrangements, custom formularies, clinical programs, channel solutions, and integrated benefit designs. You will interface with key internal partners such as Sales and Account Management, Trade, Retail Networks, Specialty, IT and Product Development. You will interact with internal teams to develop a deep understanding of their business and goals and to assist with up selling our products and solutions that align with their strategy and that increase individual client and portfolio revenue and profitability.
In addition, these teams will support, client profit improvement initiatives and targets, monthly dashboards and performance tracking, Underwriting support, and variance ad-hoc analysis to help Sr. leaders make better, more informed decisions to drive profitability and growth.
The overall goal is to support and empower Sr. Sales and Finance leaders with tools and knowledge that will allow them to run and grow the business, respond to unexpected financial impacts as it evolves and becomes increasingly more complicated.
You will have direct responsibility to hire and train a staff of talented senior financial advisors that will support various leadership within their respective division.

Required Qualifications â¢ Minimum 10 years of finance experience with strong knowledge of PBM and/or healthcare financial profitability drivers.

â¢ Expert knowledge of internal underwriting, analytic and pricing models to analyze, review and approve client financial offerings that maintain the highest levels of accuracy in forecasting
â¢ Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams of knowledge-based employees with the necessary business acumen, clinical knowledge and technical skills to contribute to the goals of the business unit
Education â¢ Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance or Accounting
