Job Summary ClearBridge Investments is seeking an Analyst to join our New York based Finance Team. The Analyst will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of the firm’s assets under management and flows; as well as, accounting for the firms separately managed account revenue and related balance sheet accounts. The ideal candidate will work well independently, as well as part of a team, has strong work ethic, able to turn data into information, and is able to multi-task.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Aggregating and reporting asset and flow details for marketing and client service inquiries
Map and load data from primary or secondary data sources
Assist in maintenance of databases for asset reporting
Calculate advisory fee accruals and any related sub-advisory expense
Performs balance sheet account reconciliation and analysis
Assists revenue analysis and forecasting
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Works with other members of the department to complete various projects and achieving departmental goals
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related major
1-3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience; investment management industry experience a plus
Working knowledge of general accounting principles, methods, and practices
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Products including Excel(tables, formula’s, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
Excellent attention to details
High level of analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and independently prioritize tasks
Effective interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
