CTAM is seeking a creative, high judgment, and self-motivated Public Relations (PR) professional with a strong interest in media, entertainment and technology. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, thrives with multi-faceted responsibilities and has a minimum of two to three years demonstrated experience handling a high volume of media inquiries and preparing logistics for press, educational and speaker formatted events.
The successful candidate will be able to proactively manage all the back-end logistics of media relations, event production and the many responsibilities that fall in between. You will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Director, Communications & Strategic Alliances on a day-to-day basis; while also leading a variety of events designed to drive awareness, engagement, and brand equity.
The ideal candidate understands the media and entertainment landscape, key influencers and can balance ongoing external communications and event planning alongside an internal/corporate communications workload. This candidate creates, formalizes, and implements event programs, including the execution of press events. This candidate works fast, writes and edits for various audiences and tonality, manages multiple internal and external priorities, demonstrates astute judgment, pays close attention to detail and collaborates well with colleagues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate logistics for press events and conferences
Build strong relationships with media and influencers
Create press coverage reports following press tours using media monitoring and online tracking service and analyze press communications trends
Manage press outreach, credentialing and ongoing communications for press tour events
Create new and compelling storytelling opportunities to positively influence results/engagement
Draft and manage approvals for internal and external messaging
Ensure all materials, assets, and communications are consistent and on brand
Manage external staff requirements for events, including research appropriate meeting space, liaison with venue and related vendors (audio/visual, food and beverage, contractors, etc.) and coordinate shipping of materials
Collaborate with internal stakeholders on event planning and execution
Partner closely with marketing team to create event awareness
Assist with podcast scheduling, post-production deliverables and reporting
Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to market each podcast and the podcast series to boost awareness and grow listeners/subscribers

Address complex, fast-moving and unexpected challenges with thoughtful ideas and recommendations
Comfortable representing company objectives during internal and external meetings both independently and alongside the Sr. Director, Communications & Strategic Alliances
Demonstrated public relations/ media relations experience
Strong writing and editing skills, knowledge of AP style preferred
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field
Minimum of two-to-three years of experience in business communications, including web and social
