The Assistant Director, Specialty Masters Career Coach provides career development services to Questrom School of Business specialty masters students (and occasionally alumni) through individual career coaching sessions, workshops, website and social media content and other innovative programming, both on campus and virtually. A significant proportion of students in these programs are international. The Assistant Director, Specialty Masters Career Coach collaborates in the planning, development, and implementation of strategies to promote career development services and activities, coordinating with the schools other stakeholders (i.e. program Executive Directors, Department of Alumni Relations, faculty, student services, etc.). The Assistant Director will optimize seamless student support by tracking and communicating information through written notes and verbal conversations, documenting the details of student interactions/appointments as well as program employment and internship outcomes. This individual will engage in professional development to stay abreast of best practices and developments in career education and share relevant information with colleagues and students. This position must be available for occasional flexible hours: early mornings, late afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred, especially one related to business or higher ed or counseling. One to three years of working experience in a similar capacity. Industry experience related to talent management and recruiting preferred. Experience providing career coaching or counseling graduate students preferred. Knowledge of Handshake, Salesforce and Microsoft Office preferred. NOTE: Please include a cover letter when submitting your resume.
