Plymouth State University is currently looking for an executive assistant. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced office environment, performing administrative duties and providing support to management. Under administrative review by the Vice President of Finance & Administration, provide extremely high level of administrative and operational support, serve as liaison to internal and external constituencies, apply thorough knowledge of campus operations and policies, and maintain the highest degree of discretion, confidentiality, and independent judgment in all interactions. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
Bachelorâs degree in management or related field and four years of responsible office support experience, or combination of Bachelorâs degree, specialized training, and responsible office experience equal to 8 years
2 years Supervisory experience
Comprehensive knowledge of office and budget management
Comprehensive knowledge of office procedures and practices
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the general public
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office products suite, e-mails, internet, spreadsheets, electronic calendar management and Word Press
Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Effective organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated project management skills, exhibiting the ability to balance competing priorities and complex situations, handle multiple deadlines in a timely manner, and work calmly in a fast-paced environment
