McKesson is seeking a strong and self-motivated individual to serve as a FP&A Manager for the PSaS division. The FP&A Manager will be the lead on month-end close and forecast activities, annual budgeting, long-range planning, as well as lead the development and implementation of new analytics and dashboards to support increased demands for financial support driven by growth of a dynamic business. The manager will partner closely with operations leadership teams, brand and generic supplier operations divisions and various finance departments across the organization. This person is a trusted business partner to various operations leaders who can leverage resources across the organization to produce actionable insight for strategic decision making. Effective communication skills, ability to influence, and consistent accurate and timely execution are key attributes for success in this position.
Monthly close and forecasting including production of management reports and variance analysis to provide insight on the results
Development of the annual budget and long-term planning
Develop and maintain Cost to Serve model to ensure profitability during the vendor onboarding process
Partner with Procurement leads in vendor negotiations in new contracts/contract renewals
Engage with Ops team to update status of vendor onboarding and ensure in process vendor onboarding is progressing in a timely manner
Partner with GVI team to ensure vendor rates are up to date to ensure timely collection of NRDC fees
Ability to generate business insight from large datasets
Present monthly variance to budge/forecast to FP&A consolidation team
Advanced analytics on supplier events such as industry consolidation, price inflation, and regulatory policies/environment
Partner closely with operation leaders, supplier relations teams, various finance departments across the organization
Support special projects, including process improvement, system enhancement, ad-hoc analysis, business initiatives
Minimum Requirements 5+ years of financial or accounting experience
Strong financial acumen
Strong data analytical, modeling and quantitative skills with ability to interpret data and provide recommendations
Advance MS Excel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines; self-motivated with a sense of urgency
Effective business partnership with the ability to influence decision makers
Ability to lead and balance multiple projects in various stages of completion
Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and Sarbanes Oxley principles
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience with SAP, BX COPA is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of contract language and formats as well as contract interpretation preferred
Strong knowledge working with multiple systems
Must be accurate, detailed and organized
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Adaptable, strong team player with ability to work with all functional areas
Ability to deal with different levels of seniority in the organization inside and outside of FP&A
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Travel about 5%
Large percent of time performing computer-based work is required
