The Team The Structured Finance (SF) Initiative team is responsible for building execution and digital operating capabilities to help execute on SF goals. This team operates globally and brings together a collection of business and technical skills with a mandate to drive a transformative agenda in SF. The team has a can-do spirit and gets involved in a diverse and interesting range of activities. Reporting to the SF Strategic Lead, within the SF practice, you will be empowered to help drive a portfolio of transformation projects to a successful conclusion, realizing value for SF analysts and maximizing organizational value.
The Role This role plays a key part in leading Structured Finance's transformation journey. As a member of this SF team, you will help achieve tangible results for SF analysts.
With a strong focus on the customer you will ensure that the planning and delivery of SF projects is aligned with Ratings' business strategy. The successful delivery of these initiatives is directly aligned with delivering Ratings' strategy and meeting business objectives.
Examples of the type of work:
Understand the ratings process and requirements from analyst perspective and identify opportunities for transformation.
Help design the user experience with Ratings Technology and Data teams.
Create a project roadmap, prioritize features, and determine expected value, while including all stakeholders.
Track progress and provide regular updates to all stakeholders (e.g. sponsors, SF management, analysts and other partners).
Work with our partners to tackle challenges and roadblocks when they occur, including appropriate escalation as required.
Ensure the successful roll out and change management as new tools and capabilities are introduced to analysts.
In this role you will encounter a variety of projects and stakeholders, for example:
Working on strategic cross-practice projects working alongside Ratings Technology.
Automation of repetitive tasks using Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
Supporting creation of SF tools built within the practice and enabling process change in SF.

What we're looking for
An understanding of the Structured Finance sector and a good knowledge of S&P ratings analytical methodologies.
For GL12 at least 5 years' experience for GL 13 at least 7 years' experience within Business Analysis/Project Management or Credit Analysis within Structured Finance
Must have ability to think independently and critically and have an eye for innovation opportunities.
Strong relationship builder that is able to create effective and mutually supportive partnerships, and influence when needed.
Strong communication skills, including presentations at various levels of the organization, and storytelling ability that resonates with different stakeholder groups.
Project management, business analysis, agile or lean experience and/or experience of contributing to technology projects is highly valued.
Strong team player - the ability to think locally and work globally in a collaborative and multicultural work environment is critical.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position at GL 12 $110,800 - $230,200 or GL 13 $134,400 - $279,200. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
