The mission of Student Affairs Finance is to provide accurate and timely analysis and support that clients can trust. Our value added services are forged through strategic partnerships that empower our clients in their decision making to enhance the student experience.

Provides administrative analysis and support, including but not limited to facilitating meetings; maintaining schedules; pursuing development opportunities for team (trainings, webinars, conferences, professional associations, etc); materials support; prepares and issues administrative and policy directives, regulations, and other instructions for issuance to departments.
Coordinates implementation with departments that cross organizational lines as needed.
Researches and drafts complex proposals, reports, briefings, executive summaries, speeches; maintains list of department onboarding, system access, and required trainings for incoming staff; plus ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Provides analyses for human capital, budget, financial, project, and capital academic, data, systems and projects; establishes and maintains contacts with internal and external constituents, including for collection and exchange of data; performs data validation and reconciliation; manages department's operational spending based on approved budget; plus ad-hoc duties as assigned.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT WORK:
Provides project management and support to move Divisional and Departmental deliverables forward; plus ad-hoc duties as assigned.
POLICY & BEST PRACTICE WORK:
Monitors and analyzes changes in external regulations, legislation, and UC policies for impact on the Campus; researches and summarizes best practices in field.
Proposes, leads and/or participates on policy and planning committees and working groups; conducts post- implementation analysis to determine the need for further enhancements, finer distinctions and/or additional process/policy components; coordinates efforts with a variety of external and internal contacts.
Researches organizational structures, policies and procedures and summarizes best practices in field; conceives and designs process improvements based on campus updates and other criteria; plus ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Knowledge of or ability to gain knowledge of common campus-specific and computer systems, applications, and programs.
Strong Analytical and /problem-solving skills.
Strong and professional communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff; both verbally and in writing.
Skilled in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing of data for preparing sound and relevant proposals.
Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Project Management Professional training/certification.
