This role is responsible for all aspects of the financial controlling program for the Deer Park manufacturing location.

Monitor and analyze the site’s financial performance
Work as part of the site’s leadership team
Perform month-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting, with supporting documentation
Provide reporting that includes, but not limited to, monthly site processing costs, production variances, yields and standard costing
Monitor local project (capital and operating) expenditures
Ensure accounting policies and processes are maintained
Coordinates SOX activities and compliance reviews on site. Works with the Finance, Operations teams and/or Corporate Audit to ensure SOX 404 Compliance. Identifies and drives issue remediation and action plan completion to ensure all control and process issues are addressed or mitigated.
Proactively identify and drive improvements within the functional area. Focuses on finding inefficiencies and problems, recommending improvements and implementing solutions.
Preparation of forecast and annual budget working with site cost center owners and site leader.
Present or assist presentation to upper management
Perform ad-hoc analysis and other duties as assigned

7 or more years of experience in manufacturing accounting
Experience in establishing and improving controlling processes

B.S./B.A. Degree in Accounting required
MBA, CPA and/or CMA desirable
Six Sigma certification
