Associate & Vice President, Project Finance – Energy & Renewables

Our client is a leading international bank, with presence a strong presence in Europe, North America and across Asia Pacific. As part of new growth strategy they are looking to appoint an Associate and a Vice President within the Energy and Natural Resources team. The department provides a full range of project finance and advisory services across the energy and natural resource sectors (including power, renewables and oil & gas). The Vice President will work closely with the Head of Energy and Natural Resources team as well as other key stakeholders across the bank, in an integral role to continue to increase the team and the banks' exposure in Australia. You will contribute to the origination and execution of finance transactions in the energy and natural resource sector in Australia. These include owners, developers and investors in renewable energy, power and waste energy projects, major energy utilities. You will be integral in the structuring and execution of finance transactions including determining and negotiating financing terms & conditions, management of the due diligence process, reviewing and providing senior input into credit applications, term sheet drafting and contributing to the effective and responsible execution of lending and advisory mandates for the energy team. For the Associate role you will have 4-6 years of experience and the Vice President should have 7+ years' experience in project finance and have a demonstrated understanding of the Australian energy, power and/or renewables market. It is expected that you have strong technical skills and confidence throughout a deal process. You must have full working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
