North Asia ex-Japan Sustainable Finance – Sales Manager

The North Asia Sustainable Finance – Sales Manager's responsibility is to sell our products and services to contribute to the growth of MESG's market share, and to enhance Sustainable Finance strategy in North Asia (Greater China, South Korea). This role has a direct impact on Issuers' decision-making process and on the orientation of their sustainability strategies as well as an indirect impact on financial markets towards more sustainable businesses.
-Marketing & sell sustainable finance products (Second Party Opinions, Sustainability Ratings & ESG Assessments) to financial institutions, issuers and investors in this region. -Co-ordinate with the Head of Business Development, APAC to foster a strong relationship with prospects and clients. -Market analysis, dialogue with key market players and participate to define MESG North Asia's marketing and commercial -strategy for sustainable finance services. -Preparation of proposals for contractual relationships with MESG's clients including request for proposals and request for information. -Generating new sales and developing deep relationship with both existing clients and prospects, by continuous engagement. -Collaborate on outreach campaigns such as brand building for MESG, webinars and commercial projects to increase the market share in the region.
-Bachelors' degree in finance, economics or related area required; graduate/second-level degree (e.g. Master's/MBA) degree preferred -Experience in ESG, Sustainable Finance and/or Financial Services -Strong presentation and negotiation skills -Strong communication skills, both oral and written. -Ability to work both independently and within a global team environment, with focus and high attention to detail. -Mandarin speaker & fluency in English are required. Korean skill will be definitely a plus. The successful candidate will be required to pass necessary examinations as per the SFC Type 4 Licencing requirements.
