Our client is a successful and growing turnaround firm investing in SMEs across various sectors in Western Europe. It is now looking to hire a Manager Finance. In this position, you will be a significant member of the firm's finance team and will also work closely with the operational units within the portfolio companies. The position is based in Munich, Germany. RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the fund, including initial consolidation and deconsolidation of subsidiaries
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and half-yearly financial statements
Maintenance and further development of reporting and consolidation software (LucaNet)
Main point of contact for accounting (HGB and IFRS) in the portfolio companies as well as contact person for auditors
In close cooperation with operational units, you will analyse deviations between actual and planned figures and prepare analyses and comments on results on a monthly basis
Review and processing of special questions concerning portfolio firms
Further development of existing tools for investment controlling / management
YOUR PROFILE
University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines with a focus on Accounting, Controlling, Audit or similar
Initial professional experience in audit, ideally in consultancy for LucaNet, in a Big 4 firm or in internal audit or investment controlling
Strong MS Office skills, in particular Excel
Experience with LucaNet is a strong plus
