Characteristics of the Ideal Candidate The Director of Finance and Operations must be able to work independently, be well organized and flexible, having strong, positive communication skills, the ability to delegate effectively, and must lead by example with a positive attitude. We expect the Director of Finance and Operations to be involved and active in life of the community. Qualifications The Director of Finance and Operations must minimally hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Accounting. A Master’s Degree in Business Administration and/or a CPA is strongly preferred. A minimum of five years experience in the field, preferably in an independent school setting, is required. Continued professional development in the form of conferences, webinars, and networking is expected.
