Classification Title: Program Manager III College/Division: Division of Administration and Finance Department: DAF Facilities Administration Advertised Salary Range: $73,421.00 - $104,631.00 Advertised Job Summary: Prepares or directs personnel responsible to prepare comprehensive analysis and reports for internal and external review and monitoring of projects, to include financial and financial operational reports/reporting, and reports to the COO. Supervises the development of reporting models to facilitate budgetary monitoring and financial analysis, reporting and entries and retrieval. Responsible for certain budget/revenue or project projections. Responsible for special financial analysis and complex reports for presentation to University Administration and at times UofSC Operating Units. Supports and/or directs and when applicable, develops and oversees, the procedures for handling the administrative functions required to operate the UofSC Facilities' interests. This includes requesting Legal for assistance, coordinating matters between the various departments, affiliated partners and/or System Units. Administrative functions to include, but not limited to, 1) participate in UofSC Facilities budget development and subsequent review/monitoring; 2)participate in reporting of financial and operational data; 3)actively participate in finance related meetings as needed and or assigned; 4)attend and participate in FAMIS or other asset and project management applications, and accounting system applications and maintenance; 5) understand and participate in active management of the general ledger, chart of accounts, projects and accounting data systems and controls; 6) as necessary develops or leads teams in request for information, requests for proposals for solicitations for services. Advertised Minimum Qualifications : A bachelor's degree in accounting, management, finance, business administration or related field and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in higher education or state government administration at management level; or a Master's degree in accounting, management, finance, business administration or related field, and at least four (4) years of experience working in managerial accounting & administration, or facilities financial management, or higher education or state government administration. Experience managing and monitoring multi-million dollar annual budgets and managing general ledger and accounting systems. Full/Part Time: Full Time
