It all begins with you. Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, employees, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services. The Asset-Liability Management (ALM) team within Treasury performs a wide range of quantitative analyses of the Company's balance sheet behavior. Team members are responsible for partnering with corporate and business unit subject matter experts to measure interest rate risk, design risk management strategies and provide management with insight concerning the balance sheet projections. The ALM team is looking for a highly motivated and proficient individual with experience in the areas of balance sheet analysis, financial forecasting and reporting, process development, and risk management to play a key role in the Business Initiatives and Strategy group. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of Wells Fargo's balance sheet and add value through working on various Finance strategic initiatives, inclusive of preparing financial analyses and enhancing or creating new reporting practices while building partnerships across multiple work streams including corporate and business unit finance teams. Responsibilities for this position may include: - Development and coordination of Asset Liability Management group initiatives focused on enhancements to balance sheet strategy, risk management, analytics and reporting.
- Lead cross functional/virtual teams to strategize, plan and execute a variety of initiatives involving balance sheet and risk management reporting. Examples include: ALM platform assessment, change management initiatives and process improvement and redesign.
- Support ALM enhancements to net interest margin and net interest income forecasts and analytics, assumptions tracking, performance monitoring, and attribution analyses.
- Utilize subject matter expertise to provide business requirements for QRM configuration changes related to initiative efforts.
- Creation and development of financial analysis and reporting, inclusive of designing tools and templates.
- Support of the group's written deliverables including initiative updates, supporting documentation and procedures for key processes and controls.
- Support project management activities such as drafting EPM project plans, conducting stakeholder meetings, developing project milestones and coordinating progress tracking and status reporting.
- Develop metrics and track/evaluate performance of programs, services and initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics and reporting; or a BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting

- Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting and analyzing interest income and balance sheet behavior

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge and understanding of asset liability or liquidity management software, especially QRM
- Essbase and/or SmartView experience
Other Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets and financial instruments
- Knowledge and understanding of analytical methods used in: statistical analysis, modeling, and reporting
- Tableau report building experience
- Experience designing processes to be implemented broadly across a LOB or large group
- Proven ability to translate strategy into sustainable implementation and operating plans
- Ability to understand and evaluate end user impact and other risk factors related to policy, process or program implementation, and ensure appropriate controls and options are considered
