The Senior Finance Manager – D2C will serve a key role within the Finance Organization by taking a lead role in the long term financial planning process, coordinating the execution of the Company’s budgeting and forecasting process, and supporting project ROI and investment portfolio analysis for the D2C business unit. This position will provide decision support, forward looking business and operational planning, and competitive and industry trend analysis to Senior Leadership. This position will partner with key functional areas across the D2C business unit and corporate organization to provide analytical and thought leadership to assist in making sound decisions. This role is expected to challenge leadership in a constructive manner and drive discussion and debate when needed to address problems and arrive at innovative solutions while ensuring financial compliance & risk management.

Take a lead role in the corporate long range financial planning process including consolidation of plans from the D2C business unit, challenging assumptions, and understanding key drivers and investments across all channels. Develop executive level summaries with a focus on analytics around key decisions and drivers for achieving the Company’s long range financial goals and strategies.
Lead the coordination and execution of the annual budget and monthly forecast process for the D2C business unit in close partnership with the broader FP&A and reporting teams. This includes communicating and managing all relevant processes and timelines to ensure accurate and timely delivery of consolidated budgets and forecasts along with relevant analyses and executive level summaries.
Oversee all financial planning and analysis aspects of the D2C business unit. This includes the creation of all relevant financial models and return on investment analyses to help guide prioritization of strategic projects and allocation of strategic and operational investment dollars.
Lead the business unit financial benchmark process in partnership with the strategy team.
Drive financial results and operational performance with sound analysis, recommendations, and actions plans based upon financial expertise, strong business acumen, and in-depth knowledge and experience in D2C FP&A.
Providing risk management support to include proactive identification and communication of issues and risks regarding projects across the business unit. Engage internal resources, as needed, to identify risks and gather data. Constructively challenges, from a financial perspective, plans and data as needed. Provide innovative solutions and identify tangible business benefits. Develops risk mitigation plans where appropriate.
Oversee ongoing review of store performance and provide proactive recommendations back to the D2C leadership team regarding long-term strategies to drive financial profitability. Oversee all financial modeling including analysis to support new doors, lease renewals and administration.
Contributing to creating an engaging, high performance learning environment for peers and direct reports, established through coaching, guidance, and ongoing knowledge transfer for associate development, and delivery of business objectives.
Willing to work some weekends if necessary
Required Skills and Experience
MBA or CPA preferred
10 or more years of relevant experience working in an FP&A capacity for mid to large size direct to consumer organization including the following:
2-4 years of leadership experience with a track record of developing and attracting talent
Industry specific experience required. Candidate must have experience acting in a Finance role directly supporting the e-commerce or retail functions of an organization.
Recent experience with Omni-channel solutions including BOPIS, BOSS, etc.
Excellent communication and written/verbal presentation skills. Able to participate actively in business decisions speaking from an analytical, data-driven and accountability-oriented vantage point.
Strong business acumen and the ability to independently assemble executive level presentations and analyses and comfortable presenting to a senior leadership audience
Ability to motivate others, communicate with all levels of organization and influence decisions throughout the organization
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, proven problem solving, leadership and interpersonal skills, in addition to being a proven team player who is highly organized and achievement oriented
