This is a Project Manager/ Business Analyst role that is part of the Intra-Month Balance Sheet (IMBS) Program within Finance Change group to manage and drive all IMBS Data Quality Root Cause Analysis and Delivery within Data Sourcing Book Of Work for Americas. As part of IMBS requirements a number of gaps by product across various functional areas and business processes were identified. The gaps require data sourcing remediation and implementation of new processes. The role will be responsible for working on the data sourcing work stream. Some specific responsibilities include:
Creating project plans, status reports and manage issues and risks
Establish effective working relationships and build partnerships with Product Controllers
Support identification of business requirements from line controllers, both in the Product Control and FMAR business areas
Understand the end to end architecture per project and understand the impact of the in scope changes
Understand the end to end project plan for each project along with the dependencies and the critical path items
Understand and document detailed business requirements and translate business needs into technical systems and operational improvement solutions
Develop test plans, cases and scripts for system releases and manage and/or execute functional testing and user acceptance testing
Execute tasks on a timely basis according to a defined project work plan / project schedule.
Manage issues / risks on projects with timely raising concerns and giving suggestions for issues resolution.
Provide periodic status reports to program lead, collaborators, and various governance forums
Conduct detailed process analysis (via user interviews and work observations) and develop process maps and data flow diagrams as needed. Conduct training to end users on changed processes and new applications.
Effectively evaluation of different process and/or technology solutions.
Apply knowledge of functionality and technology to automate processes as needed.
Coordinate with other teams on cross-functional team projects.
Perform detailed/complex data analysis tasks.
Perform root cause analysis of issues related to data or business requirements. Follow through on issues and open item with multiple partners globally and develop solutions, propose solutions, and facilitate agreeing a conclusion.

Bachelor's in either Finance, Accounting, or technical subject area
PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent certification desired
12+ years Proven years of work experience in finance or accounting (financial and regulatory reporting) in a financial services industry required.
Developing and implementing process and system improvement solutions experience
Project management experience required
Business Analyst experience required
Banking / Broker-Dealer experience desirable
Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge
Prior experience in performing business analysis
Track record in delivering major projects especially projects delivered in an investment bank or similar institution
Ability to be proactive in seeking opportunities for process and systems change and assess / improve business processes
Detailed knowledge of project management subject and fundamentals
Strong understanding of Investment Banking business processes - front to back involvement in managing change
Knowledge of investment banking Product Control, Financial Accounting and/ or Operations processes
Hardworking, result oriented with ability to learn and perform in a fast paced environment
Problem solving skills with strong attention to detail to document information accurately and succinctly
Excellent teammate also with the ability to work independently
Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Balance Sheet / Off Balance Sheet data is a plus!
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Visio and MS Project
Strong knowledge of the following technology applications: Excel, Database, Relational database
