The Finance MBA Associate Development Program has been in place for over 30 years, recruiting top MBA candidates for dynamic careers in Finance. The program allows an individual to explore various financial areas of the company through 4 six-month rotations. This broad exposure, early in one’s career, provides a unique learning environment and high visibility to senior management, mentoring relationships with managers and peers as well as builds a strong alumni network within the company. After a two-year rotational program, Financial Associates will transition to a regular, full-time position.
Rotational assignments are available in various businesses including R&D, Global Manufacturing, Commercial, Treasury, and Financial Planning and Analysis. Opportunities are also available for overseas assignments.
Assignments include but are not limited to: development of operating budgets, R&D portfolio allocation, financial forecasting for compounds in development, financial analysis of operating performance and return on capital expenditures.
Associates also have the opportunity to work on a specific product where they team with marketing to manage the brand P&L and develop strategic initiatives for growing the business.
Candidates should expect to receive a Masters in Business Administration degree during the current school year, scheduled to graduate by the Spring of 2021.
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years’ experience and strong intellectual, financial and analytical skills with demonstrated ability for quickly grasping new and complex concepts.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others and work effectively in a matrix organization, are essential.
Leadership potential is highly valued, and a commitment to integrity, professionalism and teamwork is required.
Successful candidates will also demonstrate superior financial modeling skills, specifically in Excel, and the ability to quickly learn financial/accounting software including SAP.
