Bring your career aspirations to life with AIA! Lead Finance IFRS 17 system project to ensure the deliverable is comply to the regulatory requirements.
Primarily responsible to lead the transition workstream of Hong Kong and to collaborate with Group Office and actuaries on various aspect of the transition matters
Formulate Hong Kong transition task lists to meet the UAT,Parallel run deadlines
Convert IFRS 17 practical & transition guidance into detailed new processes and user requirements
Critically assess data and system infrastructure design and developments for transition;
Design and execute new processes to enable transition of current BAU finance closing process from IFRS 4 to IFRS 17;
Review and localise Group user requirement documents, addressing any gaps that may arise;
Create Local user specifications for local specific system gap assessments;
Liaise with internal stakeholders for information gathering, preparation of transition related tasks;
Walkthrough BAU team on transition approaches and output;
Lead a sub-team to complete critical phase of transition;
Adhere to project plans on deliverables and work streams;
Supports Finance Lead on ad-hoc tasks
Minimum Job Requirements:
Degree in Accounting or Finance or other related degree
8 years' experience in financial accounting reporting function in insurance industry or audit working experience
Knowledge in IFRS 17, IFRS 4 and IFRS 9 is an advantage
Working knowledge in SAP is an advantage
Proficiency in computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite, Visual Basic and SQL is an advantage
Detail-oriented and both a good team leader and good team player
Good time management skills in managing multiple priorities and demanding project timelines
Good command of both written and spoken English
