AS A SR. FINANCE MANAGER YOU WILL . . .
The Sr. Finance Manager of the Managed Public School business is a corporate finance role responsible for providing the financial analysis and insight to executive management.
Report directly to the Vice President Finance of Managed Public Schools
Oversee and manage a team of Financial Analysts for Managed Public Schools
Be accountable for the accuracy of reported financial forecasts and budgets as well as respective variance analysis
Direct, performs and is accountable for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and variance/return analysis activities for business units (BU)
Works with Accounting and Corporate Finance on monthly/ quarterly/ annual close processes
Manages overall P&L for Business Unit
Deliver monthly reports to Corporate Finance, School Services, Regions, as well as various on demand stakeholders as necessary
Present the financial results as well as budgets, forecasts and analytics to the Executive Management team
Continuously thrive to improve processes and procedures within the Managed Public Schools Finance team
Improve processes and procedures as well as the usage of systems and tools to further enhance the goals and objectives of the Managed Public Schools Finance organization
Foster an environment of highest professional standards for yourself and your team in terms of ethics, adherence to policies, procedures, and to achieve the overall set goals of the business unit
Ad hoc requirements as needed
Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance,
Ten (10) years of related experience
Customer service and business partnering orientation
Attention to detail and quality of deliverables while sensitive to strict and tight deadlines
Excellent Interpersonal skills with the capability to interact with people at all levels and of all areas of responsibilities, fostering collaboration
Possess strong communication skills – written and verbal
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Ability to pass required background check
Previous “Big 4” work experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
