Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Administration and Finance, the Finance Manager acts as a key member of the Dean's Office financial staff and serves as the main point of contact for all matters related to financial transactions and reconciliations, accounting policies, training for Budget Managers and department discretionary budgets at the Bouve College of Health Sciences.
Responsibilities include managing the daily transactions of the College's budget including verifying and processing expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with university and college policies, executing budget transfers and journal vouchers, reconciling Dean's Office budgets, tracking and processing Dean's Office financial commitments, tracking departmental budgets, and developing and maintaining financial reports for college leadership. The Finance Manager is also responsible for managing the college's computer replacement cycle and making computer purchases on behalf of the Dean's Office. He/she will serve as a liaison to department administrators on operational financial issues. Administrative duties include assisting Leadership with space management-related tasks including capital project management, coordination of internal moves and space-related requests from college units, maintaining college space records and projecting annual space costs. The manager also performs ad hoc financial analyses and reports for the Associate Dean of Finance and other general tasks to support the Dean's Office as needed. The Finance Manager will be responsible for training, coordinating communication and policies related to all budget oversight across the College. Northeastern University experience with Banner and other University systems is highly preferred.
Qualifications: -Bachelor's Degree required and minimum of 4 year's professional administrative experience, preferably in a Financial role.. Supervisory experience preferred.

-Able to operate in autonomous fashion and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Experience with budget review and monitoring.

-Good customer service skills.
-Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
