The Finance Manager - OES Manufacturing Operations is a direct report to the OES Finance Director. The position will have 7 direct and indirect reports and will be responsible for the financial management of multiple manufacturing locations in North and South America. In addition, he/she will provide business decision support to the Directors of Manufacturing Operations responsible for these manufacturing locations, and their respective leadership teams.
More specific responsibilities include:
The manufacturing locations covered by this role include the following: Mequon (WI), Ladysmith (WI), Middleton (WI), Milwaukee (WI), Twinsburg (OH), East Setauket (NY), Devens (MA), Cambridge (Canada), the Dominican Republic, and Jundiai (Brazil)
Key responsibilities include business decision support, guidance and oversight of the Plant Finance lead, FP&A processes, financial analysis, and internal controls
FP&A processes include review and analysis of operating results, identification of risks and opportunities, recommend actions to the business partner and leadership team to improve overall operational and financial performance of the individual plants
He/she will have frequent interaction with the BU finance teams to ensure alignment
Ensure meaningful business data is being provided to the OES Leadership Team that helps improve decision making and financial performance
Ensure predictability of financial results by driving effective AOP and quarterly forecasting processes
Provide insight on how to optimize inventory levels and review capital investments.
He/she will work with the leadership team to identify, review, select and implement productivity opportunities and programs
Provide leadership, direction and support in establishing, maintaining and enforcing proper internal control policies and procedures for the manufacturing locations covered within this scope of responsibility
Work on any special projects as assigned by the OES Leadership Team or OES Finance Director
Lead and develop the plant finance teams including performance reviews and career planning to ensure the achievement of OES and plant goals and objectives, and to help employees achieve their career goals at Rockwell Automation
