Our team is seeking a Manager of Administration, Finance & Information Services to support our Center of Comparative Medicine and Pathology (CCMP) . The position is responsible for overseeing the financial, purchasing, human resource, information technology, and administrative operations, and for participation in the strategic planning of the department with the Executive Director, CCMP. The CCMP is composed of the Research Animal Resource Center and the Laboratory of Comparative Pathology. The CCMP and this position support the animal resource programs at MSK, Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM), and the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). The department employs over 250 professional and support staff, has an annual operating budget of > $25 MM, and is responsible for the daily care and handling of approximately 250,000 animals housed in seven separate locations in Manhattan, Westchester, as well as Doha, Qatar following all Federal, State, local and institutional regulations and/or policies.
Provide overall responsibility for administrative, financial and human resource operations, ensuring appropriate and efficient provision of services and facilities to meet departmental and institutional goals and objectives.
Serve as a liaison between the CCMP and other MSK/WCM/HSS departments.
Plan, develop, implement, analyze and control all fiscal aspects of the CCMP to meet departmental and institutional goals through operating (>$25MM) and capital budget development and processes to monitor the departments compliance to budget.
Oversee all information systems within the CCMP for all campus locations at MSK, WCM, and HSS. These include a custom developed enterprise application, EnCCoMPass, used to manage procurement, census, recharge, and clinical activities.
Manage the functions and activities of the Administrative, Information Services and Financial section of the CCMP and its assigned 16 employees.

A Bachelors Degree required
4 7 years of relevant experience is required
8 years of meaningful experience is accepted in lieu of a Bachelors degree
The ability to conduct financial planning and analysis, oversee complex information system design and implementation, as well as to manage staff and ensure efficient operations for a program that operates in multiple locations and that includes multi-institutional components. #LI-POST
