Position Summary: The University of California Office of the President (UCOP) is the headquarters for the UC system, one of the largest and most acclaimed higher education institutions in the world. Capital Markets Finance (CMF) at UCOP is responsible for raising capital on behalf of all ten UC campuses and five medical centers, and manages the University's debt portfolio. The services provided by CMF support capital programs for the campuses and medical centers that, in turn, provide services to our faculty and student body.
The Capital Markets Finance Analyst will provide analytical support to the team. Specifically, she/he will provide technical assistance and professional support for Capital Markets Finance activities, which include debt capacity analysis, bond issuance, liquidity analysis, and bond compliance tracking. She/he must have strong financial modeling and PowerPoint skills. The Analyst will also work closely with colleagues throughout the system, including those in Capital Planning, Real Estate, and the Office of the Chief Investment Officer, as well as external partners, and must be a collaborative team player.

Job Close Date:
Identify and summarize OP and campus business needs and requirements pertaining to financing, debt tracking and reporting. Ability to develop financial models independently to meet department needs.
Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Has some knowledge of finance policies, practices and systems.
Has ability to gather, organize, and perform basic financial analysis assignments.
Requires ability to present information in a clear and concise manner both in writing and verbally.
Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office and common desktop/web applications. Required
