The School of Business at SUNY Geneseo is inviting applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor in Finance to begin August 2020. Duties of the position include: Teach undergraduate courses in Finance including derivatives, fixed-income and investment. Required Qualifications An earned doctoral degree in Finance with specializations in investments, fixed income and derivatives or banking and financial institutions. ABD candidates will be considered. Degree must be in hand at time of appointment (August 2020). Demonstrated interest in teaching and desire to work with talented, motivated undergraduate students as well as Geneseos extensive alumni network in the financial industry. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex material in a clear and organized manner. Potential to establish an on-going program of scholarly research and publication in the area of Finance. Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive working/teaching environment.
Preferred Qualifications A demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate education, including advising and mentoring students. A commitment to service to the school, college, community and discipline.
