The Dealer Finance Group (DFG) provides inventory financing and wholesale lease financing for new and used vehicles for automotive dealerships throughout Canada. DFG is a part of TD Auto Finance (TDAF), which brings together the former Chrysler Financial business and TD Financing Services.
The business works closely with Commercial Banking Centres and the TDAF retail team to provide exceptional service to automotive dealership clients. The DFG team is responsible for: monitoring and control, inventory audits, credit analysis, as well as the day to day operation of the floorplan accounts via daily funding and pay downs. Reporting and technology initiatives are an integral part of the team's continued growth and success.
The Leasing Customer Service Officer ("CSO") works as part of a team in supporting administrative and procedural matters relating to the set-up, monitoring and on-going maintenance of TD DFG loan portfolio; and it's interaction with CCSC, CAS, Cash Management, branch networks, TDs Loan system, monitoring and reporting on lease portfolio performance. The CSO reports to the Leasing Manager, Dealer Finance Group.
The Leasing CSO is responsible for
Maximize support for the DFG in credit loan administrative matters so that the team can focus on accountabilities such as monitoring and risk control.
Maintenance of several logs within the Dealer Finance Group ("DFG") for completion of daily/weekly/monthly tasks .
Ensure timely completion of unit's administration, control, and reporting and compliance activates.
Administration of the Lease Program in WFS for the DFG Portfolio.
Daily monitoring of client portfolio in Sword Apak WFS to ensure daily processing is completed in a timely manner and escalates any exceptions as appropriate.
Follow-up with customers in a timely manner, for back-up documents to support the Lease line.
Resolving administrative questions/concerns from clients and/or business partners and communicating with the DFG group and escalating as appropriate.
Provide guidance to the dealership clients' of DFG websites.
Assistance with the onboarding of new clients across Canada into the DFG portfolio of business with a focus on Quebec.
Documenting processes and recommending process improvements; and keeping abreast of procedural changes by regularly checking for updates on CBWeb & BWeb.
Bilingual - French - Written / spoken
Minimum of 2 years previous experience, in commercial or automotive lending, preferably in dealer floor plan financing
Education in accounting / finance preferable
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
