The Account Analyst works closely with the team of researchers and staff that comprise the McCourt School of Public Policy 's Research Enterprise at Georgetown University to provide financial and administrative operations support. Reporting to the Director, the Account Analyst has duties that include but are not limited to:
Processes expense reports, accounts payable, and purchasing documents in the Georgetown Management/Workday System.
Reviews supporting documentation for all transactions to ensure accuracy.
Orders supplies, preparing documentation for contracts and procuring office equipment.
Manages and reconciles ProCards for researchers on a monthly basis and allocates expenses to appropriate accounts.
Manages two Operating Accounts and prepares journals to transfer charges.
Provides a monthly detailing of grant expenses against budget (40+ grant awards).
Prepares monthly journals to allocate telephone and office space rental charges.
Serves as Timekeeper in GMS for staff and students.
Serves as the point of contact for office telephones and purchaser for University cell phones.
Requirements and Qualifications
A minimum of 4-5 years of related financial and/or administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Detailed oriented and possess the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks
