The Supervisor is responsible for general ledger maintenance and preparation of all financial statements for all affiliate groups supported by Cedars-Sinai Medical Delivery Network. Supervises the preparation of all financial statements used for senior management reporting. Ensures timely and accurate completion of all account reconciliations each month for each reporting entity. Takes the lead role in the preparation of all analysis and supporting documents needed to support internal and external audits.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
* Responsible for supervising the preparation of all stand-alone affiliate monthly financial statements including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements * Performs supervisory accounting functions involving the application of established accounting standards, principles and practices. * Supervises all GL activity for each affiliate group * Supervises the preparation and input of all monthly journal entries * Performs financial analysis of operations. * Supervises and assists with the preparation of all monthly account and bank reconciliations for stand-alone entities * Provides high level assistance with the preparation of tax filings and audit work papers for both internal and external auditors as needed. * Supervises all stand-alone affiliate banking activity * Participates in professional development activities. * Maintains confidentiality of patient, employee and corporate financial records. * Develops and coaches' staff to ensure they have the skills necessary for optimum performance Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
