Job Description Summary Here at Lloyds Banking Group we are recruiting a Finance Manager - Group Cost Management role.

Here in the Cost Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, we provide a service dedicated to enabling and serving Finance Business Partners, made up of three teams; The Planning and Analysis (P&A) team, the Reporting, Forecasting and Controls (RF&C) team, and the Performance Improvement (PI) team.
Your role as the Finance Manager will be part of the Reporting, Forecasting and Controls team within the Cost CoE and you'll report directly into the Reporting and Forecasting Senior Manager.
What would you get involved with?
You'll take ownership and accountability for:
Delivering standard reporting and Flash, and Month End reporting packs, including first line commentary
Coordinating and supporting forecasting, and pack production
Collaborating across the CoE to deliver quality reporting and controls
You'll help cultivate high performing operational teams within the Costs CoE with a customer centric philosophy that provides control, challenge and insight.
You'll build strong relationships with the CoE teams that you support, and ensure your team's products are delivered effectively and expertly anticipating customers' needs.
In addition, there is an expectation that the role will be flexible and work across the wider Cost Centre of Excellence teams, supporting other teams where demand requires.
What will your key accountabilities be?
Undertake all reporting activities across the CoE including but not limited to:
Production of standard and regularly scheduled Cost Reports
Production, reconciliation and use of regularly scheduled Payroll reporting
Production, analysis, commentary and consolidation of monthly early line of sight flash reports and packs
Production, analysis, presentation and consolidation of cost management information packs and quarterly management information packs
Identification, assessment, design, build, test and release of new management reporting and/or management information reporting
Production of Rolling Forecast i.e. including but not limited to Monthly Rolling Forecast and Restatements
Ensure that all SLAs are tracked and met each month
Continuously promote a culture of operational improvement within the team
Actively assist and motivate junior colleagues to assist in the creation of a high performing and engaged team to achieve objectives and deliver above expectations
Review and oversight of junior colleagues output and deliverables, and timely issue raising to appropriate management for issue resolution
Embody the Lloyds values of Putting customers first, Making a difference together and Keeping it simple
Represent Reporting and Forecasting Team across all key partners, including but not limited to the Costs CoE teams, Business Partners teams and Group Finance Support Teams
Build and maintain regular contact and strong working relationships with key partners
Provide insightful information, guidance and advice to influence and aid partner decisions
What skills and experience can you bring to the role?
Qualified accountant (ICAS / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent) or qualified by experience
Excellent communication, presentation and organisation skills
Strong IT skills - Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
Financial services experience (though not essential)
Knowledge of SAP and TM1 systems
Line management experience
