This position will assist the Associate Dean, Finance and Administration in planning and monitoring the financial health of the School; will participate in strategic planning through development of long term financial planning as well as identify and make recommendations for improvements in financial operations, facilitate communications on policies and procedures; ensure compliance with University accounting and financial reporting policies.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
Required Experience: 5+ years relevant budget and financial management experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience with accounting, financial analysis and budget management.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze, interpret and present financial information. Ability to prepare and report on complex financial models for various aspects of the Schools financial portfolio. Resolve complex problems, successfully work with and communicate with diverse internal and external clients. Ability to meet fixed deadlines. High level of proficiency with spreadsheet software; familiarity with database and word processing software. Knowledge of payroll and budget management.
