We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Portfolio Management and Distribution Manager .
Manage the Trade balance sheet and identify requirements of primary and secondary distribution to provide solutions for capital, Risk Weighted Assets, credit and liquidity and create and grow secondary market for Trade assets
Pitch solutions to customers, explain the distribution structure to investors and ensure closure of deals
Manage the structuring of the origination pipeline that requires distribution solutions and structure complex trade transactions from end to end
Manage transactions with the secondary market to ensure no conflict of interest arise from the primary market
Formulate portfolio investment strategies and create portfolios by selecting content and determining the appropriate time to purchase or sell
Enhance the risk distribution strategy and identify new markets and opportunities to boost product penetration and share of business
Develop and build networks of institutional investors, private investors and consultants
Engage with internal stakeholders across Credit , Risk, Middle Office, Trade Finance, Account Policy, Legal, Treasury amongst others to create sell down structures
Work alongside internal stakeholders in relation to loan documentation to ensure implementation of the approved transaction
Give direction to Technology functions and operations teams to build systems and infrastructure to support activities in this field
Bachelor degree in business, related field, or equivalent experience
Good knowledge of Trade Products and Services with a focus on Traditional Trade including Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Financial Institution, Trade Loans, and Structured Trade Finance.
Good knowledge of Global Trade Receivables Finance trade structures and acceptable underlying debt instruments.
Good experience in Trade risk distribution, asset optimization and recycle or syndication. Robust understanding of the secondary market, established presence, credibility and recognition in the market. Knowledge of Credit Risk Management, good to have experience in managing credit exposure Business oriented, sales experienced, displays strong commercial awareness. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills Excellent organization skills, planning capacity and time management.
Proactive and able to work independently.
Excellent communication skills, must be able to clearly articulate ideas and persuade with robust arguments. In depth knowledge of relevant regulations impacting the business, and the lending and credit approval process and Global Standards
