Responsible for the delivery of financial and capital plans, and provision of relevant management information and analysis.
Develop long-term and short-term financial plans, partnering with relevant functional areas to articulate business priorities and financial plans to execute against those priorities.
Maintain an efficient, effective and comprehensive process for developing financial plans and analysis that links to the strategic objectives.
Provide advices to top management in relation to business finance with strategic planning
Prepare financial modelling and financial analysis for various ad-hoc financial projects.
Proactively identify and suggest improvements to general policy, procedures and systems to increase the effectiveness of the management information reporting, financial planning and analysis functions.
Ensure all activities related to the finance function comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Ensure compliance with Group Head Office reporting deadlines/timeframes. Assist and support Finance teams across the region as appropriate to this end.
Articulate analysis and commentary on business performance and financial reports to Senior Management to business requirements.
Prepare regular reports, recommendations and interpretations to the leadership group based on financial and operating data and variances in the budget.
Maintain the refine models for better and timely financial forecasting.
Maintain clear audit trials on work performed.
Degree Holder of recognized accounting qualification or other related disciplines.
Professional accounting qualification with at least 10 years' experience in an accounting, planning and analysis role. Previous experience in insurance services industry is highly preferred.
Solid knowledge of management information and planning processes and systems.
Knowledge of industry best practice in finance, accounting, internal controls and procedures.
A team player with excellent communication and influencing skills.
Excellent data analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details.
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
