The BU School of Public Health (SPH) is looking for a highly motivated, results-driven candidate. The Special Projects Associate will play a vital role in supporting the Dean's Office, working directly with the Assistant Director of Strategic Initiatives and the Chief of Staff on the implementation of innovative projects that aim to promote the school's mission. Responsibilities include managing the Dean's Signature program including Events Administration, Data Management, and perform other special projects as assigned. Candidates for the position should have excellent time management and written and verbal communication skills and be superbly organized.

Responsible for Data Management, by collecting, clean and manage contact data for the Dean's Office that pertains to all past and present event guest and guest speakers. Manage the Salesforce platform, including importing all sources of contact data, creating new campaigns, and running reports. Collaborate across departments to ensure contact data is kept up to date.
Responsible for Events Administration. Maintain a comprehensive master schedule of events in consultation with key staff in the Office of the Deans, Communications, and Development; update the status of each event in real time and track outstanding pieces from various players. Run all school-wide events, including staffing appropriately and seeing all events through to completion. Manage relationships with speakers and manage event post-productions.
Responsible for Special Projects assigned by the Dean's office, including website management.
Bachelor's degree required.
3-5 years of relevant experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle the demands of a fast-paced, multi-faceted, changing environment
Salesforce experience preferred
