The Finance Manager, Operations & Engineering Services (OES) Central Operations, will be responsible for leading the Global Central Operations Team (COT) in the consolidation, financial analysis, and reporting for all global OES plants and functions and other OES related financial measures.
This role requires strong leadership, consultative and partnering skills, as it collaborates with the plant and functional finance leads and their respective business partners, to help OES leadership understand OES financial performance and provide actionable analysis to improve results. The candidate must also have strong financial acumen with a focus on process improvement.
The role also manages two teams of analysts, one in Milwaukee, and one in Katowice, Poland, so the individual should possess strong people leadership skills and be comfortable managing a remote team.
Key responsibilities include:
OES Consolidation, Reporting and Analysis:
Lead global reporting and analysis including consolidation of OES global results (function, plant, logistics, purchase price variance, inventory, productivity, capital).
OES HQ finance lead and primary contact for OES related questions.
OES accounting processes for excess & obsolescence (E&O), inter-company profit (ICP).
Provide support in establishing, maintaining and enforcing proper internal control policies and procedures.
Adhoc financial and strategic analysis as required by OES leadership.
Finance Business Partner for Engineering Services and Quality Organizations:
Lead global and regional FP&A processes for OES Engineering Services and Quality organizations, with oversight of $100M spend. This includes leading the annual and quarterly forecasting and planning processes, monthly performance review, analysis of the functions' operating results, and identification of risk and opportunities.
Business decision support and partnership with VPs and regional directors on strategic projects and to drive productivity.
Lead and develop Central Operations Team analysts in both Katowice & Milwaukee including performance reviews and career planning to ensure the achievement of OES goals and objectives, and to help employees achieve their career goals at Rockwell Automation.
