The Financial and Administrative Coordinator will support the Department Chair, Administrative Director, and Grants Manager in the Department of Environmental Health. They will be responsible for processing all financial transactions on research, operating and discretionary accounts, including travel reimbursements, honorariums, and other disbursements. They will work with the Grants Manager to process grant administrative material and to support grant submissions. In addition, they will be responsible for core administrative functions, including department meeting and event planning, purchasing and technical troubleshooting of all office equipment, and maintaining departmental records. The successful candidate will need to be well-organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize duties.
Associates/vocational/technical degree required; Bachelor's preferred. 1-3 years' experience required. Experience with grant management or an interest in grant management is a plus.
