Aston Carter are partnering with a global investment bank in the search for a Manager within their Transaction Advisory and Transaction Structuring division. The organisation are an immediately recognisable brand with a global footprint across financial markets, institutional banking, asset management and investment banking. The role will sit within their Group Transaction Advisory division providing technical structuring advice to both the group division and the relevant business units. The role will act as a key internal advisor providing extensive funding, structuring, capital management and implication advice to a wide array of stakeholders. The main duties of the role include;
Provide detailed deal structuring advice to senior management both at group and divisional level, with a key focus on a acquisitions, disposals and new product intiatives.
Partnering with both Treasury and Group Finance to analyse the businesses funding positions providing key advice around exposures, implications and opportunities,
Engage directly with the groups Finance Policy division to create frameworks for their M&A activity,
Acting as a conduit between the business units and external counterparties and advisory firms.
Modelling both the financial and tax implications of all major transactions within the group.
To be successful in the role you be making your first move from a top tier consultancy and will come with a background from either M&A/Deal Advisory (including Valuations, Modelling or Corporate finance) or you will come from an M&A Tax Advisory practice. You will have a strong background providing advice to senior level stakeholders both internally and externally. An aptitude to diversify you skillset in this high profile opportunity are a must.
