BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW
Compensation Accounting (CA) is responsible for accounting, reporting and payment of salary, bonus, and other types of remuneration paid to employees of the firm. We are responsible for the analysis and reporting of wage information and tax payments to domestic and international tax authorities. In addition, we are also responsible for the accounting, taxation and reporting of employee share-based compensation. We work closely with areas of the firm such as Human Capital Management ("HCM"), Tax, Treasury, Legal and Corporate Financial Reporting. Compensation Accounting has five regional teams strategically located in Jersey City, London, Hong Kong, Bangalore and Sao Paulo. This role is located in Bengaluru and will support various aspects of the US International payroll operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Job Description:
Administrate the executive and expatriate payrolls in Americas, EMEA and Asia
Partner with Global Human Capital Management and external vendors on compensation, benefits, and foreign tax withholdings
Liaise with Tax and Legal for jurisdictional tax requirements, regulatory changes, and compliance in multiple countries
Responsible for the wage and tax reporting in international entities involving multiple currencies and fx conversions
Perform variance analyses related to compensation paid month over month
Collaborate with the accounting team and legal entity controllers regarding reconciliations for balance sheet substantiations
Coordinate funding with Treasury and Liquidity Management for monthly payrolls and tax payments
Reconcile global mobility benefits for expatriate employees including relocation allowances and tax equalization
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls and quality assurance to maintain financial controls related to compensation
Participate in a wide range of compensation projects and ad hoc requests
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
