Health Department Business provides all grant accounting, budget development and monitoring, accounts payable, contracts and purchasing services, medical accounts receivable, and other operational support for the Health Department. The Contracts and Procurement Supervisor is responsible for leadership, program development and administration of all aspects of the contracting and procurement functions. This position serves as the department primary contact and expert for Contracts and Procurement, exercising extensive knowledge of the process, including administrative procedures, risk management, contract negotiation and business practices. The position provides expertise in procurement and contracting for Medical services and technology.
As the Contracts and Procurement Supervisor you will:
Manage and oversee program work, set priorities, provide direction, and coordinate work alignment with department goals and objectives.
Supervise, plan, direct and evaluate the daily activities and workflow for a diverse team with a high level of technical and professional expertise, who are responsible for implementing, administering, monitoring and reporting the department’s contracts and procurement activities.

Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills*:
Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business, Finance or a directly related field
Three (3) to six (6) years of progressively responsible professional contract and procurement-related experience, including two (2) years of experience supervising the work of others.
